There are so many amazing tools and resources for bloggers and creators! Since I am only one person, I’ve provided information on the tools and resources for creators that I have personally used. However, if I know about similar tools or resources, I also linked to those just in case it works better for you (even if I myself have not used them)!

As always, do your own research before using a tool or resource and I wish you luck in your blogging or creator journey!

Resources for Content Creators

Below you will find information and links for software that I specifically use to run social media and connect with my community. You can choose to immediately use the software I mention here or simply use it as a jumping off point for research into resources that work well for you.

Metricool

I cannot tell you the number of social media schedulers I have tried, from Later to Planoly to native schedulers and more. As a content creator, Metricool has been everything I’ve wanted and so much more.

I’ve been able to schedule things for different social channels so fast that it’s absolutely mind-blowing. I also love the recurring system they have, which is perfect for pushing out evergreen content, and their analytics provides great context for what’s doing well and what isn’t.

Camera w/ Video

There’s nothing wrong with recording content with your phone but if you want to take it to the next level (or if you want to record YouTube videos), you need to get a separate camera.

Enter: Sony’s Alpha ZV-E10. It’s got interchangeable lens, a flip-out screen, and the ability to add an external microphone. Basically, everything you need to make your video ideas come to life!

Tripod

Unfortunately, we can’t grow extra arms to help us record content and take photos, but that’s where tripods are super helpful.

I have a few tripod options: a mini for everyday life and a regular-size tripod for photoshoot days.

Resources for Bloggers

Creating a blog can be so stressful, but it’s definitely doable! I’ve gathered some tools, software, and more that you can use to create content and connect with your readers! Below you will find information and links for software that I specifically use to run my blog, my email list, gather analytics, and more. You can choose to immediately use the software I mention here or simply use it as a jumping off point for research into resources that work well for you.

ShortPixel

Images can easily get out of hand on your blog. However, images for your blog only need to have a long side length of 1200 pixels (or 1500 if you want to optimize for Pinterest).

Then comes the important part: compressing your pictures. ShortPixel compresses your pictures, which means your pictures will be slightly less high-quality (barely noticeable) but they will take up much less space on your website and improve your site speed!

Tailwind

Tailwind is a super useful program that makes pinning to Pinterest super easy! While Pinterest now has their own scheduler, there are still so many steps involved and it’s really time-consuming to schedule the same pin over and over again.

Tailwind makes it super easy to schedule your pins so your content is constantly going out to your audience and to new people! Tailwind also makes it super easy to drip your content over time, so now your old content isn’t left behind!
